Dear Ramswarupananda-ji,

I still need an authentic voice from the hierarchy in the Hindu priesthood in India to speak out on these alleged kundalini raising procedures, where there is oiling at the site of the perineum, supposedly a ritual employed by various gurus in India.  

Have you heard of it?  Is it bona fide?

In the case of Sathya Sai Baba, he uses something of this sort for nefarious deeds, and I am searching for some very scholarly Hindu religious authorities who can give me a definitive answer about the practice.

Please assist me here.  We are doing our best to save a great many boys and young men from sexual predators such as Sathya Sai Baba.  If the religious elders and preceptors bury their heads in the sand in an issue like this, what chance do householders have for proper, principled and honest guidance?!

For twenty-seven years you were the closest aide to one of the greatest Swamis in India's history, and one who was utterly frank to me (although privately) when I raised even questions sanyasis are sometimes noted for ducking.  I really call for an effort from you on this matter.
