The following letter was sent to Dr. Doreen Virtue on February 14, 2002.
Dr Virtue is a psychotherapist whose bio reads as follows...Dr. Doreen Virtue (yes, that is her real name) is a spiritual clairvoyant Doctor of Psychology who holds BA, MA, and Ph.D. degrees in Counseling Psychology. Dr.Virtue is the author of twenty-two books on mind-body-spirit issues. Inclusive of this list are such titles as: "Healing with the Angels", "Divine Guidance", "Angel Therapy", "The Lightworker's Way" and "The Yo-Yo Diet Syndrome."
Dr. Virtue is the founder and former director of WomanKind Psychiatric Hospital at Cumberland Hall Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. She was also an administrator at Woodside Women's Hospital in the San Francisco Bay Area. both all-women psychiatric hospitals specialized in treating women's psychological issues. Dr. Virtue also directed three outpatient psychiatric centers, including an adolescent drug & alcohol abuse center.On her web site she has a section entitled Doreen's Angel Message Board and there is a link to "Angel messages by Doreen and subsequently the reference to Phyliss Krystal."
My original reasons for contacting Dr. Virtue was to inform her of the cover-up role of Phyliss Krystal with the Sathya Sai Baba Organization and to request that she remove from her site the special reference to Phyliss Krystal.
She has not given me the courtesy of a reply and her web site still contains the reference to Phyliss Krystal.
Therefore, I am requesting that all concerned readers of this message verify the matters discussed below by going to her web site at:and then to write Dr.Virtue at:
and request that she remove the reference to Phyliss Krystal.

Dear Dr. Doreen Virtue,
I have just for the first time looked over your beautiful angeltherapy.com website which was recommended to me by my former wife who was quite taken by many of the passages in your book "Healing with the Angels".
But I was astonished to see the following reference on your site to Phyliss Crystal aka Phyliss Krystal:A psychotherapist named Phyllis Crystal was on an airplane which sat on a tarmac in the middle east, many years ago. Suddenly, three armed men stood up to hijack the plane. Phyllis prayed for help, and she suddenly received a very strong and intense influx of love. Phyllis was guided to send that love to the hijackers. The moment that she did this, one hijacker "accidentally" cut himself with his knife. He hurt himself so badly, that he got angry and flustered. The hijackers then ran off the plane, calling off the hijacking entirely.
I am sure you are unaware that this lady is a long time devotee of Sri Sathya Sai Baba (who claims to be the God of Gods) and she has extensive first hand knowledge of criminal sexual misconduct by her Guru which she refuses to acknowledge in public in spite of massive testimonials in the world media and an official warning by the US State Department, UNESCO and many other sources.
Phyliss has participated in the cover-up of these many sexual abuses with other so called leaders in the Sai Organization for over 20 years and goes around the world inviting unsuspecting parents and their children to visit the ashrams of Sai Baba.
Surely, you do not want your beautiful web site contaminated by references to people like Phyliss who at the very least is one of the many guilty complicitors (by her silence) to these heinous crimes against humanity and in particular innocent boys and young men.
I assure you there are thousands of references to these horrible allegations and lest there be any doubt in your mind, I am asking the former devotees listed above to provide you with further information and references that includes many detailed personal testimonials from victims and resignation letters from former devotees, including myself.
The FBI and the US State Department are very much aware of this situation and as mentioned above, have put out an official advisory warning all US Citizens of this situation. I have also included a link to that bulletin wherein the referenced section reads as follows.

CRIME IN ANDHRA PRADESH - Americans traveling to or residing in Andhra Pradesh should also be aware that there have been media and other reports of inappropriate sexual behavior by a prominent local religious leader. Most of the reports indicate that the subjects of these approaches have been young male devotees, including a number of Americans. Although these reports are unconfirmed, American citizens should be aware of this information.*****************
While most of us former devotees originally appreciated hearing such stories when we were still devotees, I hope you can understand the intense pain and feelings of betrayal that all of us now experience when we see any reference that would glorify officials of the Sai Organization, especially those who have direct knowledge of these human rights abuses.
Please remove the reference to Phyliss and please notify all those who link to your site why you have taken such action. I am sure there are more than enough other stories to take her place.
All of us need to especially help expose and stop these atrocities by Sai Baba and their cover-up by people such as Phyliss because they are being committed by one who claims to be the highest embodiment on earth and who functions as God the Creator and who asserts he is the living accumulation of all religious deities past, present and future and states he possesses all the powers (without any reservations whatsoever) that could be ascribed to God Almighty.
