Following the recent letter by PM Tony Blair about Sai Baba, Tony Colman MP has tabled this Early day motion against Sai Baba in the British Parliament, asking for a formal warning warning to UK citizens potentially travelling to Sai Baba Ashram. The motion number is 886.
MP Tony Colman requests that all UK citizens write their member of parliament and ask them to support this motion. PM Tony Blair may make a statement on this matter, in the light of developments about Sai Baba in the last 2 years, and especially since he himself had written a letter to Tony Colman expressing his and the British Government's position on the Sai Baba matter
That this House, mindful of the many accounts and witness statements of the sexual abuse of the male children of devotees by the Indian guru, Sai Baba, calls upon the Foreign Secretary to use the Travel Advice for India page of the Foreign Office Website to issue guidance to British families intending to visit the Ashram of Sai Baba about the possible danger to their male children of individual audiences with the guru.
