Note: Barry Pittard spent time in Sri Lanka with the individual, Nalin Sedera, whom Sathya Sai Baba said would succeed him. The facts Sai Baba and key figures like Professor N. Kasturi and the best-selling author of several books on Sai Baba (the latter two both close to him) are gravely questioned by events following Sai Baba's death on 25 April 2011. Sedera's name appears in none of the discussions about succession. But of course, there is Sai Baba's own prediction of AD 2000 that he will revivive forty days after a crisis 10 years later (that is, the present). Ah well, if we see a hale and hearty Sai Baba presiding, once more, over Puttaparthi, the poor much put-upon Sedera will just have to wait until the renovated Sai Baba dies at 96 (or, at another age that he has confusingly prophesied, 93).
