Note: For scholars, journalists, instititions, as well as
seriously enquiring devotees and former devotees, this article
contains links that show how, over time, prominent former
devotee commentators (such as Brian Steel, Robert Priddy,
Alexandra Nagel, myself and others) have pointed to an
increasing deterioration of Sathya Sai Baba's mental and
physical health - a progression that adds to the large catalog
of psychological denial by Sathya Sai devotees.

pacemaker implanted in him last Monday. Nor can they explain how
their master sits – shoulders humped, face immobile and eyes
staring vacantly. They may think that he is going to do an
all-three-world-beating great miracle and cure himself, but they
cannot falsify the fact of his many failed prophecies and
promises. They cannot reconcile many serious and repeated
contradictions in his statements with the reality that has grown
so glaringly apparent" ...
