The SWARA Upheaval"Brisbane staff (allegedly
sacked under draconian circumstances) and disabled clients
of SWARA, a charity solidly funded by the Queensland State
Government, say that they feel overwhelmed by a highly
autocratic power concentrated in the hands of a committee. They claim
that this body has been heavily stacked with Sai Baba cult
members, and that clear and proper professional policies are
not being adhered to. They also say that the committee is
one of a number of fronts for the Sai Baba cult, which accepts
large financial support by the Queensland government but
bends these advantages in a way unacceptable in many
properly conducted comparable institutions in Australia".
