Sathya Sai Baba is reputed to have performed miracles since his youth. Stories of these, especially from simple, uneducated and highly superstitious villagers were compiled by Prof. N. Kasturi and subsequently by Ra. Ganapati and a few others. SSB does not often confirm many of these stories, but he has 'blessed' the publications that purvey them, however vague, inaccurate or flowery the accounts may be. The more euology and exaggeration the better! Complete subservience to him as the One and Only Creator Lord is SSB's definitive preference in books about him.
