Historic Cooper Union Great Hall to Host Notorious Cult

Tribute to Accused Sex Molester Guru

Once host to Abraham Lincoln, Cooper Union Great Hall in New York is scheduled to venue the highly controversial Sathya Sai Baba Cult in India represented by The Sri Sathya Sai Organization of America.

The featured speaker is Michael G. Goldstein, M.D., of Covina California. He is the Chairman of the ‘Prasanthi Council’ and is responsible for the administration of Sri Sathya Sai Organizations in all countries outside of India. Invitations have been sent to all their members and the public is invited to attend on Saturday, June 12, 2004 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at 7 East 7^th Street, New York N.Y. 10003.

The FDSSB (Former Devotees of Sathya Sai Baba, a Global Coalition) have accused the Sathya Sai Organization for covering up the sexual molestation of male minors and other young males by their founder and Guru, Sathya Sai Baba, who claims to be God incarnate and the Father of Jesus. The cover-up has existed since 1976 and will soon be shown to the entire world in the 1 HR. BBC documentary , ‘THE SECRET SWAMI” on June 17, 2004.

In addition to the sexual molestation accusations, the members of the FDSSB have been asking for an independent investigation of the four police killings in the Guru’s private apartments on June 6, 1993.

Formal complaints of the sexual molestation’s were filed with the FBI and the U.S. State Department which resulted in a continuing Crime Information Consular Notice since November 23, 2001.

Although the Guru is unnamed, the current notice at http://travel.state.gov/india.html directs U.S. citizens to contact the U.S. Consulate General in Chennai for further information. Since May 24, 2004, the U.S. State Department has advised that they will confirm the subject of their long standing Consular Information Sheet is Sathya Sai Baba.and they have established a contact for media and public inquiries (See below)

Cooper Union should be aware that if a child is sexually molested after that child or the child’s parents had attended this meeting, Cooper Union could find itself liable for enormous damages after a civil action or even open to a criminal charge. Cooper Union could not plead ignorance. The cult will use any meeting as a sign of approval by the owner of the venue and will post it on their numerous websites. Any contract with this cult should immediately be rescinded on the grounds of public policy or the protection of the rights of a child.
