Sathya Sai on Wikipedia The debate about what one can and can't say about Sathya Sai Baba continues on Wikipedia, where some of the most recalcitrant pro-Sai followers still post subjective points of view and avoid the rules for objective documentation on Wikipedia, ignoring the input of serious persons with well-documented materials.

Sathya Sai Baba - Good and Evil Who is responsible for the bad (sometimes called 'evil') in the world? Sai Baba claims it is not him but everyone else, but his arguments are a mish-mash of conflicting and bogus reasons.

Indulal Shah, flawed exponent of Sathya Sai Baba's precepts For decades I. Shah was the leader of the Sathya Sai Organization, where he was so authoritarian and self-importantly rude to his 'subordinates' that it set a bad example and lost many competent persons to any good works that were actually done.

Sai Baba- self-transformation through divine love? and Transformation of people by Sathya Sai Baba One hears a lot about this, but it is always personal and subjective with accounts of how good a person one became after being 'transformed' by Sathya Sai Baba.

Prominent Indians Berate India’s Rife Political Corruption Because dissenters who have left Sai baba point out how he and his key servitors have only deepened the corruption that is rife in India, they are attacked as being "India bashers". They never bash India or Indians as such, but only those corrupt and criminal politicians, godmen and organizations and the many illegal and superstitious practices which curtail the liberty and human rights of the vast deprived hundreds of millions, not least dissenting minorities.

India's election gives some hope The Congress party were reelected in sufficient numbers to make an effective government which promises a revival of secularism and taking more account of the needs of the poor and suffering than has been possible for decades. The increasingly aware electorat - including 400 million new young voters - showed their concern for underemployment, land alienation, credit failures, migration and a severe deficit of human security - and mot least their need for food security, sanitation, reduction of massive bribery and their inequality and powerlessness in practice before the law... plus many other terrible ills and social failings.

Sathya Sai Baba makes many promises But many followers experience that he does not keep them. They try to rationalise this by all kinds of acrobatic twists and turns of mind. Read some examples of his break of trust and how it is explained away by those who are too deeply committed for too long to dare to see the facts in the face.

Sai Baba: boys as properties (and 'improper ties') Sai baba claims that he has not property, and that his only property is his students. How come? What kind of 'ownership' does he exercise over them? The worship of Sathya Sai Baba's person Having set himself up as a divine incarnation from his youth onwards, Sathya Sai Baba is the focus of a kind of mythology - especially among India devotees. This process of mythologisation of almost everything about him apparently gets more widespread as he becomes less available for personal contacts and continues to be unaccountable and beyond the scrutiny of anyone in his many private hours.

Sathya Sai Baba on 'free will' On no other subject, perhaps, is Sathya Sai vaguer - and often directly self-contradicting - than on that of human will... whether we have any degree of freedom or not. He emphasises total fatalism more often than he supports a degree of free will...

Sai Baba's humility and grandeur It is said by some close devotees that Sathya Sai Baba is the essence of humility. How this accords with his claims to be God Incarnate, to hold all power of the cosmos in one hand, to be able to transform earth into sky and vice-versa, is an enigma... unless one realises the arrogance and megalomania present.

Sathya Sai Baba Sect and Its Hidden Agendas. A Caution Sectarian devotees around the world speak constantly of Truth, Right Conduct, Peace, Love and Non-Violence. They behave outwardly as having the appearance of professional and ethical responsibility. But there is are hidden agendas...

World leaders and Sathya Sai Baba who welcomes all important and rich persons, especially Presidents, Prime Ministers and royalty, always giving them pride of place over all who work selflessly for him. The super-rich despots - the King and Queen of Nepal - were among those so privileged - but not long after they were both shot down by their son! So much for Sai Baba's much vaunted 'grace and protection' of his worshippers.

Sathya Sai Baba and the Vedas - part one Claming that he is the embodiment of the Vedas, Sathya Sai Baba makes extraordinary claims for the knowledge they contain, but these are not followed up by the extraordinary proofs that this would require. Sathya Sai Baba’s Failed Moon Miracle Under Heavy Cloud His incredible statement (via his close aide and frequent translator Professor Anil Kumar on October 4, 2008) that he would give ‘visvarupa darshanam’ on the moon ended in crowd chaos when the sky was cloud-covered and the police had a serious time preventing threats to life and limb in all the milling of the crowds who had rushed to the designated site, the Sathya Sai airport (a white elephant on sale with sweeteners for anyone fool enough to buy it).

Sathya Sai Baba and the Dalai Lama Sathya Sai Baba doers not stand comparison to the Dalai Lama as a genuinely truthful, open and humble servant of people. That is why Sai followers try to show that the Dalai Lama endorses Sathya Sai Baba. However, they have to rely on the very thinnest of pretexts to make this claim... as they also did to try to show that the Duke of Edinburgh endorsed Sathya Sai Baba. Risible stuff!
