Death of Sathya Sai Baba?
Sai Baba says "A sentence of death awaits everyone, which cuts off their pride and pomp." Fascinating news from one whose pride and pomp visibly surpasses anything seen in any religious movement today (as a visit to any official Sai website's picture gallery will demonstrate fully). His preaching is down-putting of everyone, except himself, ever proudly putting his Divine Selfhood beyond all human criticism!

Sai Baba caught in cheating about the Christian Bible
At Christmas 2002, Sai Baba pretended to materialize a tiny Bible which he claimed to be unique, a text from 1530 AD designed to show the common features of all religions. But this was a Bible printed recently which is on sale on the Internet, and it it a standerd set of texts taken from the Bible, nothing more.

Puttaparthi properties, hotels and transport
Sathya Sai pretends to be a renunciant Godman but is surrounded by wealth and a vast property and business complex. His now-deceased younger brother, Janakiramiah, was a multi-million dollar property speculator and Sai Baba made him a member of the tax-exempt multi-billion dollar Sathya Sai Central Trust for his part in the murders episode
.

Sathya Sai Baba and the exploitation of women
Sathya Sai Baba makes some confused and self-contradictory claims about the role and place of women. He says they protected India from destruction in the two World Wars! His overwhelming preference for males is well known - and he gives women scant attention (claiming he gives it 'inwardly' instead!) He has no women assistants or officials in his various institutions (except in seperate women's colleges or institutions) with some few exceptions in some overseas bodies. Women are given a secondary role wherever possible and are exploited in this male dominated environment.

India's state
Sai Baba points out there is strife, misery and turmoil everywhere in India! His answer to it: prayer! Not so effective, one must surmise, in raising the poor, introducing a respectable level of social equality, cleaning up the exploitation and pollution which are strangling much of the land! Prayer is a final resort of the otherwise totally helpless, yet there is no proof it has the desired effects.

Sai Baba: Prayer, not environmental awareness?
Sathya Sai Baba ridicules scientists as 'foolish' for they do not recognise that praying to the Earth (Bhoomidev) is effective, because they are ignorant of the "inner significance" of what he vaguely calls "reaction, reflection and resound" (his example is echoes heard in mountains etc.!). Sai Baba ignores that science has penetrated many of the deepest former 'mysteries' of the cosmos and life such as the inner workings of genes and atoms, the origins and causes of nearly all natural phenomena, of stars billions of light years away. Instead he reaches ancient pre-scientific superstitions like deities as causing natural phenomena (eg. Mother Earth or Bhoomidev). He advises they can be assuaged by prayer, even suggesting prayer to Indra for rain etc.

India and Pakistan celebrate independence, still at stalemate
The main cause of Partition is well known to have been Hindu-Muslim religious differences. Sathya Sai Baba usurped the name of Shirdi Sai Baba, the former saint who adopted both faiths at once. Yet Sathya claims to be an avatar of Indian deities, which is totally against the Koran and Islamic teaching. His ashram and all about him is strongly Hindu-oriented, despite his empty claim to be 'universal'.

‘God’ patronising the poor in India?
Once Sai Baba preached with some credibility against materialism and pomp, but now he is at the centre of both. He started actually speaking to the poor, but no longer... only the rich, well-heeled and potential sources of more power and money have been given interviews for decades.

Flood problems hit India’s poor but not the rich
Indian central authorities have not put in place contingency plans for predicting, warning or averting the almost annual flood problems. Those hit hardest are the very poor, who never get sufficient compensation for their losses, often everything the own.

Is India a Moral Engine and Social Ideal to Emulate?
Sathya Sai Baba traces the problems of India and the world as essentially depending on 'holy' sacrificial rituals ['yagnas' and 'yagas'] and holds that his reintroduction and promotion of these sacred acts make India the engine which will pull all the countries of the entire globe into a golden moral age. Seeing India's problems and general moral condition today, this is unbelievable, nothing less.

Global Warming or Global Wobbling
Geophysics will have to go through another paradigm shift, because Sathya Sai Baba, who has come to right the world and save humanity, reveals that piling of materil on one side of the earth causes imbalance and hence earthquakes. After all, he is (self-proclaimed) God Incarnate and is omniscient, omnipotent and even more omnipresent than ever was Santa Claus.

The 'wisdom' of Sathya Sai Baba
Sai Baba holds that students and others who "think too much" end up dying ("ultimately") of indigestion. This is cutting-edge science from an omniscient being? However, he magnanimously attributes this medical breakthrough to none other than Aristotle, whose death he seems to think proves his point... indigestion. [Aristotle apprently thought too much (about indigestion) and so actually died of thinking.] Admittedly, Aristotle was a great and original thinker... but Sai Baba then?

Super-Rich Indian Gurus who don’t deliver what they promise
Indian gurus who have become super-rich, but who have promised far more than they ever produce in results, are Osho/Rajneesh, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Sathya Sai Baba and many more. Sai distinguishes himself from the rest by claiming he has no property or worldly goods (i.e. he pretends he is a renunciate) - which must be one of the smartest accounting tricks but most obvious deceits that any Indian guru has practised.

The Sathya Sai Doctrine for Cover-up
Cover-up of all crimes and all bad things is practised by Sathya Sai Baba according to his simplistic doctrine 'See, hear and speak no evil". It is mainly to protect himself and his many known wrongdoings that he rants on about this, while he claims that his critics are demonic.

Rich and Poor in India
Some say India is the worst place to be poor in, and the best to be rich in. The wealth gap is gigantic! The Indian guru Sai Baba gets billions for charity, but far too much is used to build self-glorifying 'spiritual museums' and wasteful flagship projects, while he charters private passenger jets for himself to use his own mostly deserted airport. Millions from Isaac Tigrett disappeared into the pockets of his officials too!

India - God-driven or God-forsaken?
India's future hopes must lie with its younger and modern citizens and their rapidly increasing development of information technologies, increasingly seen as India's international role models, who share and implement global human values, but not the religious supersitions masquerading as 'spirituality' which continue to suppress human rights and social equality.

God Lives In India
Sathya Sai Baba has announced that, being a full avatar incarnation of God Almighty, he never incarnates anywhere else on earth but in India. This, he says, is a cardinal reasons for national prestige and self-confidence!  The title 'God lives in India' has been used for a film, a book and a music album, all referring to Sai Baba.
